Imagine that you're working on a big project at work with a tight deadline, or that you're feeling stressed or anxious over finances or a relationship. Wouldn't it be great if you could open the value to release some of the pressure?
Stress is such a pervasive problem these days. Unfortunately, most of us begin to get desensitized to stress and see it as our "normal" state. When we're younger, we can often bounce back from stress because our bodies are healthy and resilient. Many of us even feel proud at how we thrive under pressure and in stressful situations; that is until our bodies begin telling us "no". The body might start with GI issues or headaches, but eventually, because we aren't listening to the warning signals, our bodies may start to experience more chronic or severe illnesses.
Stress is a natural response to challenging situations, but when it becomes chronic, it can have negative impacts on our physical, emotional, and mental health. Anxiety, on the other hand, is a feeling of worry or fear about future events, and can also lead to significant distress if not properly managed.
It's important to recognize the signs of stress and anxiety in order to address them effectively. By healing the root causes of stress and anxiety, we can begin to cultivate healthier coping mechanisms and reduce their impact on our lives.
If you're joining these group healings, you're proactively beginning changing how stress and anxiety are affecting you. Being open to change and growth is a great place to be, and I'm honored to be on this journey with you as you Open to Calm, whether for one week or several! Thank you for helping to make the world a better place. The more of us who get our stress levels under control and are able to navigate the world from a calm and kind place, the better the world is for all of us.
Many blessings,
Kathryn
